Broad Bean 'Red Epicure'

Vicia faba

Unusual and relatively rare variety. Mature pods are green but contain red to dark crimson beans. Excellent eating quality. The colour of the beans can be protected by lightly steaming rather than boiling. Plants are large and robust. Very easy to grow. Thanks to Vortex Veges for access to this variety.
