Versatile ground hugging plant that produces masses of honey-scented white blooms. Hardy annual that's easy to grow and self seeds readily. Also a valuable companion plant in the vegetable garden that attracts beneficials. Interplanting alyssum with lettuce and broccoli crops has proven to be a powerful biological control for aphids.
