Also known as New Zealand Spinach, this easy to grow and hardy ground cover is also highly nutritious. Can grow rapidly and provides an abundance of spinach like greens that should be at least lightly cooked or steamed before eating. The plant is perennial and will also thrive with little care or attention although it does not tolerate severe frosts. Often used by permaculture enthusiasts due to it’s ability to create a thick edible ground cover, where weeds may otherwise prevail. Self seeds readily and can be a good source of bulk organic matter. Approx. 20 seeds.
